Alexis Savopoulos, “A Garden of Spirits”

Northport, NY– Haven Gallery is pleased to present “A Garden of Spirits”, a solo exhibition of new work by California based artist Alexis Savopuolous. “A Garden of Spirits” is Savopoulos’ third solo show with the gallery and will include both paintings and sculptures representing the cycle of life. Glass shadow boxes, tea cups and vintage Florentine plaques are some of the timeless canvases for the artist as she hand sculpts animals and flowers and embeds them into these tangible worlds. Glow in the dark elements are added to further embrace the cycle, using motifs of dark and light. A reminder that life always will always break through even the darkest and seemingly most final of moments.
