Inspired by time spent in Rome and Florence, the new pieces draw heavily from classical and historical reference points to create narratives that exists in a space between dark and light. Each piece tells a story, or an aspect of an unfolding story that writes itself as it is worked on. Channeling his thoughts, dreams and emotions, the work explores how we reflect on the passage of time and how it shapes the relationship between ourselves and nature.
