Haven Gallery is excited to announce, “Dear Diary”, an exclusive exhibition of sketches collected straight from Kukula’s personal sketchbook, to be on exhibition February 22nd – March 22nd, 2020. “Dear Diary” hosts a collection of twenty drawings on paper dating from 2013-2019. The work represents a symphony of ideas that lead to the production of some of the artists most iconic paintings. Each graphite sketch offers a special look at Kukula’s process in the creation and design of her girls and the decadent clothes and worlds that they inhabit. Never before has an exhibition come about featuring such intimate and personal ruminations of the artist; we hope you will enjoy this glimpse into her unique and neo-rococo world.
